Grabfood just rolled out a promotional subscription from 11-13 June 2020 @ $5.99 / mth instead of $9.99 / mth.
But hor, this promotion is only for selected user. I am still on the $4.99 plan until end of June 2020.

So your order always exceed $18 (not including delivery fee). You can explore this food plan.
Why keep increase the min order ah?
Because in my previous post, and previous previous post, we talked about how much they need in order to break even.
Grabfood charge around 30% to merchants.
So in order to cover the rider $5 delivery fee, the breakeven is:
$5 / 30% = $16.70
So if minimum order of $18 x 30% = $5.40.
Grabfood's revenue from this order is $5.40 (not including the 20cents platform fee).
Let them earn abit can? For the longest, you have been paying $4 for mcdelivery.

Now they only break even nia lehs.
So.. Should I Subscribe?
If you order 2 x meal in the month. You already cover back the $5.99
Because nowadays, the delivery fee is $3 - $5. Give you average out $4.
2 times of the $4, you cover back your $5.99.
If you happen to read this at the non promotional period. You just need to order 3 times to cover back your $9.99 investment.

And I tried, this one is all merchants not like the previous $4.99 food plan. Only selected merchants.
