Baby’s 7th Month Vaccination at Polyclinic

Last Friday, we brought Loti's for her Vaccination. The baby's Month Vaccination is the 3rd Jab for her Hepatitis B. She had her 1st Dose during birth, 2nd dose after 1 month and now 5 months later.

And they also check on her development as well. Of course, the routine check like Height , Weight, and head circumference. 

And some questionnaire like if your baby can sit up, can flip etc.

So what is Hepatitis B?

I go and research and read up.

Hepatitis B is an infection of your liver. It can cause scarring of the organ, liver failure, and cancer. It can be fatal if it isn't treated. It's spread when people come in contact with the blood, open sores, or body fluids of someone who has the hepatitis B virus.

The vaccine is safe. It is also extremely effective provided you complete all 3 doses:

Appointment at 8.40am

So our appointment is booked at 8.40am on a Friday morning. 

The queue at the polyclinic is usually long; And it is long because many people don't know how to use the Self Service Kiosk.

So the 3 main kiosk is always crowded. I always go and find other kiosks located elsewhere where the queue is significantly shorter.

And standard for Baby Follow up, the consultation room is also the same.

My appointment is 8.40am and I managed to get to see the nurse at 9am. Very fast leh! And within 20mins I'm down at the polyclinic.

And now for payment, you can also do it at the Self Service Kiosk and most of the items can be paid by their Baby Bonus ATM card (CDA Account)
